What have we been up to? Summer 2021

July 24, 2021

There is relief as we write this that the temperate is 24 degrees, as supposed to the 30 we’ve been experiencing the last few days! Colab has been running 9 months and we continue to feel blessed by how it’s growing and developing.

Here is a bit of what Colab has been up to since March…

Coaching : space to think

Just last week Rebi reached the milestone of 100 hours of coaching – an amazing achievement, made possible by many of you – so thank you! With just a few hours of training left, it means she is on track to apply for ACC accreditation in August. Watch this space for exciting news hopefully! Rebi has also loved delivering coaching training for Poole Missional Communities team – it was great to share skills and practical tips for having better conversations.

Rebi is continually blow away by the way coaching sessions allow people to move forward, feel reassured and encouraged. Why not book in for a session or think about training for your team? email rebi@colab39.co.uk

It was excellent training, enjoyable, empowering and engaging. I know from talking to the team that they feel it has made a difference already in terms of the coaching conversation, formal and informal, that they are having in the course of their ministry. Thank you!

Paul Bradbury, Leader of Poole Missional Communities

NEW : Space to Grow – Group Coaching.

We are looking to gather like-minded people who want a facilitated, encouraging and challenging space to coach and be coached within a small group. Like the sound of it? Get in touch.

Consultancy : co-workers in God’s field

Our relationship with Enterprise Homes Group continues… we successfully finished the first phase of coaching consultancy & training with them. We continue to journey with them as they seek to cement this within their team. We have embarked on a new project with designing a training programme focusing on freedom & awareness. Watch this space for more developments on this….

Rebi continues to work with the Revive project. She led the logistics and fed families in both Easter & May school holidays – reaching over 2900 children/young people. The project is taking a pause over the summer but has managed to have a huge reach during the pandemic. See the video below:

We continue to work with Living Hope Church: providing admin & comms support. Again, such a blessing to be able to use our skills to bless and help support a local church.

Sharing : enneagram events

It was such a joy to journey with people during the start of the year through our enneagram events. We are hoping to expand on the events we offer and spaces we provide.

Going Deeper

After the success of our Enneagram Course, it was great welcome 16 people on a three-part ‘going deeper’ course. This ran once a month from April-June and provided great space for deep conversations and learning. We will continue to offer Enneagram events in the future, so do keep your eye out if you’d like to be involved.

Looking forward…

We are feeling hopeful about the future, we are so aware that Colab is still so new it’s in life and we long to be attentive to where it is growing and moving. We are excited about future events and opportunities and are still working hard on getting the word out there about what we’re up to – so if you can help shout or share or speak about us in anyway, we’d be so grateful.
