What have we been up to? March 2022

March 31, 2022

Isn’t it great to finally feel the warmth of Spring arriving! We thought it was time for an update to see what we’ve been up to at the start of 2022.

Coaching : continuing and expanding

After receiving her accreditation at the end of last year, it’s been great for Rebi to carry on into the new year, continuing to coach both familiar and new faces. There is still capacity for more thinkers – so if you think you’d appreciate space to think something through, then do get in touch. Email rebi@colab39.co.uk. Work with 3D Coaching has really gathered pace and Rebi has found it hugely encouraging to be part of the team there. It has come with new opportunities and challenges which are really stretching Rebi in her coaching skills. This role takes up about half of Rebi’s week now, which is brilliant!

Consultancy : co-workers in God’s field

After the success of the pilot programme of Navigate, Enterprise Homes Group invited us to run two more programmes which started at the beginning of the year. One of these started really well and unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of our control, running the programmes had to come to an abrupt end. We’re not sure what the journey will be for Navigate, but we’re sure it will find new life in the future.

Work also continues with Living Hope Church, offering them weekly admin/comms support.

Training : Team Day

Colab facilitated its first Team Day at the end of February with Black Country Food Bank. It was a brilliant day full of team building and reflection – a great way for the team to come together after a pandemic!

Do you know a team who might appreciate a day away together? Get in touch!

Events…

It was a pleasure to be asked by Cliff College to speak at one of their evening worship events. Despite Jack having planned a full afternoon seminar and Rebi the evening talk – good old Covid got in the way and at the last minute we ended up having to pre-record the evening session from home. It was a strange throwback to the last couple of years!! It was still great to be able to share virtually!
You can watch Rebi’s talk on Psalm 93 – check it out here (19mins in).

Although we did put dates in the diary for some more Enneagram events, we didn’t meet the required numbers, so sadly chose to cancel them. We’re still figuring out the landscape of what format is useful for people post-pandemic, so we will continue to explore this. If you’ve got an idea you’d like us to consider – do get in touch.
